Started in 1995, Built Inc is John Sofio’s ongoing artistic endeavor within the study of true and soulful design. Translating a specific energy or feeling, designed spaces serve as intentionally crafted universes in which every instance of the room exists in the context of the rest. No feature is arbitrary.
For this reason, total design control is absolutely necessary to Sofio’s process, starting at the inception of a concept and carrying it through the design, construction, and branding stages of development. Built Inc. creates with specific intention, translating concepts into designed spaces. Specialising in nightclub and hospitality projects, Built Inc. manages construction from foundation to finishes.
With close attention to detail, Built Inc. designs and fabricates custom furniture and fixtures to complete the effect of a project’s overarching concept. Interior design, brand design, sound design, and graphic design all fall under the umbrella of Built Inc.
