As Chief Marketing Officer at citizenM, Robin focuses on maintaining and building the citizen brand, safe guarding the brands integrity throughout all disciplines. Robin plays an active role in citizenM's creative board, where all decisions affecting the customer experience are decided. All company communication internal and external, via all channels offline and online. Some of these channels include owned channels, social channels, third party channels and paid channels. All public relations of the company are coordinated, in addition to all digital direct communication. Lastly, Robin and his team are continuously busy with brand innovation, searching for new partnerships and initiatives to position the brand.
Design excellence to me means, extreme attention to details. Truly being focused on the function of a space in order to distinctively enhance the customer experience. Environment and ambiance creation does not stop at the design of the physical space, it should include its styling, art, service, technology, sonic and olfactive identities.
