Chief Operating Officer - Dorchester Collection
He began work in 1973, as footman to the Duke of Westminster. After studying hotel management in Switzerland, he joined the Savoy Group, then the Sofitel, and later the Warwick operations; at the latter, he was offered his first GM position. In 1991, as GM of the Hôtel Le Parc (Westin group), he surrounded himself with Chef Joël Robuchon first, and afterwards Alain Ducasse, with whom he still collaborates. Appointed General Manager of the Hôtel Plaza Athénée in December 1999, he headed the creation of the Dorchester Collection in 2004 and became its Director of Operations that year.
