He twice won the Glenfiddich Restaurant Critic of The Year Award while at the Independent on Sunday, as well as being named World Food Media’s Best Restaurant Critic in 2007.
When the function is matched by the form, ie when the design, layout and ambience is precisely calibrated to how the space is to be used. I’m for playfulness, against pastiche and believe in serendipity and sustainability. Oh, and comfort is not a dirty word.
